Extremadura region has Badajoz and Caceres as the provinces and Merida is the capital of the region. The capital has Roman ruins which are fantastic and worth visiting while on holiday or vacation in this Spanish region. This capital was a very important center for the Romans and it is therefore not a wonder that most of the region’s history is preserved here.

Gastronomy in the Apostolic Town of Santiago

Santiago de Compostela is where the pilgrimage of the Way of Saint James comes to a halt and is therefore a World Heritage site. It is one of the many places that still attract huge numbers of tourists from all over the world coming here to see the many monuments it has under its fold.
